These are basically the same as those offered by the large specialist tour operators but differ in that they are for a smaller number of people (4) and can be undertaken at any time, subject to my availability, rather than once or twice at specific times of the year.

Intensive tours involve early morning bird watching almost every day and extensive travel in pursuit of the maximum number of species.

These tours are great fun and you get to see a very large number of bird species and more of the endemics - but they are quite strenuous and tiring.
